ISAE Program Cancellation Policies

Event Cancellation or Postponement

ISAE reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any program for any reason, including emergencies, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If an event is cancelled, ISAE will make every effort to reschedule. Your registration fee will automatically transfer to the new date. Please note that ISAE cannot reimburse any travel, lodging, or incidental costs related to a cancelled event.

If an event cannot be rescheduled, ISAE will review the situation and, when appropriate, issue a partial or full refund of registration fees.

Cancellation, Refund, & Substitution Policies

In-Person Programs (Excludes ICON annual convention)

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the program start date: Receive a full refund of your registration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the program start date: Registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Substitutions: You may substitute another participant at any time, free of charge.

To cancel or substitute a registrant, email [email protected]. Please note that cancelled registrations cannot be applied to future programs. Refunds, transfers, and substitutions are not available for no-shows.

Virtual Programs

For ISAE-hosted virtual programs, including CAE Study Sessions:

  • If a recording will be available to registered participants, no refunds will be issued.
  • If no recording will be available, full refunds may be requested up to 3 days before the program start date.

Refunds, transfers, and substitutions are not available for no-shows.

ICON (Annual Conference)

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the program start date: Receive a full refund of your registration fee.
  • Cancellations made 29–15 days before the program start date: Receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the program start date: Registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Substitutions: You may substitute another participant at any time, free of charge.

Overpayment Policy

If you register at the incorrect rate and overpay, you are responsible for requesting a refund for the difference within the time frames listed above. ISAE does not issue automatic refunds for overpayments.
