• What safety precautions will ISAE take during this in-person convention?
    ISAE will follow all recommended local, state and federal protocols in place at the time of the convention to maintain maximum social responsibility. All protocols in place will be communicated to attendees in advance of the event and strictly enforced throughout the convention.
  • Will there be a virtual option for those unable to attend in-person?
    This year ICON 2022 will be fully in-person.
  • I'm not an ISAE member. May I register for ICON 2022?
    Yes. Non-members are more than welcome to register for ICON 2022. In fact, it's encouraged as the annual convention is a perfect way to meet industry peers from all over the state of Indiana. Registration rates are higher for non-members, so before registering, you might consider joining ISAE to save on convention registration. Learn more.
  • How will CAE hours be tracked during the event?
    One of the major benefits to attending the ICON 2022 is the ability to earn up to 9 CAE hours. Each educational session is will be worth credits - the amount of which will be communicated throughout the program. You will be able to keep track of these hours and send yourself a report through the ISAE mobile app.
  • July 17-19...does that mean three full days of programming? What time should I plan to arrive on July 17?
    Educational programming will begin at 2:00 pm, and golf networking opportunity at 10 am on Sunday, July 17. We will wrap up at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19.
  • Does being a first-time attendee put me at any disadvantage throughout the event?
    Certainly not! ISAE fosters an inclusive environment among the members and is thrilled to get you involved right away. First-time attendees and new members are invited to join ISAE staff, board members and committee chairs for a networking reception immediately prior to the Opening Reception on Sunday, July 17. Our goal is to ensure that no attendee ever feels outside of the circle.
  • I want to play golf. What do I need to do?
    During Registration, be sure to check YES to sign-up. Payments will be taken onsite at Belterra. You can learn more HERE
  • Do I have to play in the golf outing to participate in the Golf Fundraiser Education session? 
    No. The education session is open to all ICON 2022 attendees and is included in your convention registration.
  • What kind of exhibitors should I expect to find in the Exhibitor Hall?
    The Exhibitor Hall will take place in the same room as the general sessions and feature a wide array of vendors whose products and services support the association industry. Exhibitors range from hotels/CVBs and A/V companies to app developers and professional speakers. You'll even be able to have professional headshots taken at no cost.
  • Does ISAE publish the attendee list in advance?
    The attendee list will not be shared widely prior to the event. By established policy, ISAE is unable to share email addresses of attendees.
  • If I register today but then am unable to make it at the time of the event, will I receive a refund?
    Refunds will be granted depending on when you cancel your registration. The refund schedule can be found here. Substitutions are allowed. Please contact [email protected] to make a substitution.

ISAE Code of Conduct

The Indiana Society of Association Executives (ISAE) is committed to providing a harassment-free conference experience for all attendees. We expect attendees to follow our Code of Conduct at all events. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status, as provided by local, state, or federal law; sexual harassment, including unwelcome attention, stalking and physical contact; abusive conduct that has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with another person's ability to enjoy or participate in the conference, including social events related to the conference; and undue interruption of any conference event, speaker, or session.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for hostile, harassing, or abusive conduct. If a person engages in such conduct, appropriate action will be taken, including, but not limited to, expulsion from the conference, restriction from attendance at future ISAE events and/or withdrawal of membership. Individuals who witness, become aware of or experience inappropriate conduct should report such conduct to an ISAE staff member.
