Back to Business
Thursday, October 29, 2020, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM EDT
Category: General Education

In-person events are among the largest sources of non-dues revenue for associations and non-profit organizations. However, The COVID-19 pandemic has dried up this vital revenue stream for organizations across the world. As we work towards getting back to hosting in-person events, there are so many factors to consider, from legal liability and health considerations to intangibles such as the way participants feel when attending an event.

ISAE has partnered with Meeting Professionals International Indiana Chapter (IMPI Indiana) and Minorities in Hospitality (MIH) to host “Getting Back to Business: Planning Live Events During the Pandemic,” giving those planning their own events an opportunity to experience an in-person event – with maximum socially responsible measures in place – from an attendee’s point of view.

This program will be held in-person at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie, IN, and will feature all necessary socially responsible protocols from masks and socially distanced seating to no-contact hors d’oeuvres, bar and networking.

Uncomfortable attending in-person, but still want to participate?
No problem! This event will be livestreamed. Please indicate your preference (attend in-person or view livestream) on the registration form.
