REGISTER TODAY

Do you send out emails with little response from your members? Are your members not registering for meetings/events? Are you having trouble recruiting volunteers? Why are our members not STICKING?

Many of us are dealing with these same issues and more. We want our members to engage, but somehow this just isn’t happening.

Join ISAE peers on November 18 as we work through some of the biggest issues associations are facing right now and come up with solutions that you can take back to your own organization!

Attendees will rotate from table-to-table to discuss these topics:

  1. Event Registrations and "Pivoting" Challenges: Why is registration low? Do people want virtual or in-person events? What kind of events do our members want? Cancelling vs. Rescheduling?
    1. Facilitator: Millie Lawrence (Membership & Meetings Coordinator, ISAE)
  2. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: What is the value of DE&I in our membership? Do our members feel their values lineup with the association? What can we do today to help our association be more inclusive?
    1. Facilitator: Katie Feltman, CAE, Chief Operating Officer, American College of Sports Medicine; ISAE DE&I Task Force
  3. Recruiting Volunteers and Keeping Them: How can we appeal to volunteers? How do we increase our board participation and engagement? How do we show value to our volunteers?
    1. Facilitator: Amy Katzenberger, Director of Foundation Relations, Riley Children’s Foundation
  4. Effective Communications: Why are the email open-rates so low? How do we compete with the rest of the internet? Is increased cyber-security affecting our communications?
    1. Facilitator: Rachael Pfenninger, Director of Strategic Execution, American Mold Builders Association
  5. Moving Forward Despite Staff Turnaround: How do we manage our time when we have more on our plates? How do we do more with less? How do we prioritize so our members still feel valued?
    1. Facilitator: Wendy King, Executive Director, Order of the Golden Rule
