Frequently Asked Questions

  • I'm not an ISAE member. May I register for Convention?
Non-members are more than welcome to register for Convention. In fact, it's encouraged as Convention is a perfect way to meet industry peers from all over the state of Indiana. Registration rates are higher for non-members, so before registering, you might consider joining ISAE to save on Convention registration. Joining as a Virtual member for $50 then registering for Convention is less expensive than the non-member rate. Learn more.
  • How will CAE hours be tracked during the event?
One of the major benefits to attending the ISAE Convention is the ability to earn up to 10 CAE hours. Each breakout and keynote session you attend will count for one hour and Deep-Dives will count for two. You will be able to keep track of these hours and send yourself a report through the ISAE mobile app.
  • July 15 - 17...does that mean three full days of programming? Should I plan to arrive on July 14?
No. The only event on July 15 is the Welcome Reception at Notre Dame Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m. Educational programming will begin at 9:00 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, July 16. We will wrap up at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.
  • Does being a first-time attendee put me at any disadvantage throughout the event?
Certainly not! ISAE fosters an inclusive environment among the membership and is thrilled to get you involved right away. First-time attendees and new members are invited to join ISAE staff, board members and committee chairs for breakfast on Tuesday, July 16 before the opening keynote presentation. Our goal is to ensure that no attendee ever feels outside of the circle.
  • What kind of exhibitors should I expect to find in the Exhibitor Marketplace?
The Exhibitor Marketplace will take place in the same room as the general sessions and feature a wide array of vendors whose products and services support the association industry. Exhibitors range from hotels/CVBs and A/V companies to app developers and professional speakers. You'll even be able to have your headshots taken at no cost.
  • Does ISAE publish the attendee list in advance?
The attendee list will not be shared widely prior to the event. Please contact Christen Martin to inquire about an attendee list. By law, ISAE is unable to share email addresses of attendees.
  • If I register today but then am unable to make it at the time of the event, will I receive a refund?
Refunds will be granted depending on when you cancel your registration. The refund schedule can be found here. Substitutions are allowed. Please contact [email protected] to make a substitution.

ISAE Code of Conduct

The Indiana Society of Association Executives (ISAE) is committed to providing a harassment-free conference experience for all attendees. We expect attendees to follow our Code of Conduct at all events. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status, as provided by local, state, or federal law; sexual harassment, including unwelcome attention, stalking and physical contact; abusive conduct that has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with another person's ability to enjoy or participate in the conference, including social events related to the conference; and undue interruption of any conference event, speaker, or session.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for hostile, harassing, or abusive conduct. If a person engages in such conduct, appropriate action will be taken, including, but not limited to, expulsion from the conference, restriction from attendance at future ISAE events and/or withdrawal of membership. Individuals who witness, become aware of or experience inappropriate conduct should report such conduct to an ISAE staff member.
